Hi everyone! Happy Spooktober! Best time of year for sure! My Halloween decorations (not many) have been up since last Halloween! Just a few window decal clings and two solar light up items for my front porch (a witches hat and a black cat). Some people leave their Christmas lights up all year… I apparently leave my Halloween decorations up all year! Hahaha! But now I have an excuse to actually put the lights on for those two things on the front porch. Happy Spooktober!

I have never tried to dress my pet up, but my daughter dresses her cats up every year. One year she had a bumblebee, a golfer and a oversized candy corn.
MY DOG WOULD TRY TO EAT THE COSTUME. HE IS A BIG BOY. FOR BEING SUCH A BIG BOY YOU WOULDN’T THINK HE IS A SCARRY CAT. LOVE YOU BOOKS, AND YOU CATS ARE SO CUTE🐈🐈⬛🎃🥰
I have only recently discovered Brambleberry Bay Murder Club books. OMG! They are fantastic!! I am on book four– (I always read in order to not see spoilers)–so far I have neglected my sewing, quilting, cooking, cleaning, TV, etc.–(everything but my 3 cats) to read “just one more chapter”. 🥰 This is my first time with the mind-reading, green mist, and talking animals so I was not sure at first. Boy, have I been missing out! I have rated each with 5-stars on Amazon and Goodreads–they have truly earned them.

Happy almost Halloween everyone! Hope everyone has a great week and be safe if going out to any Halloween parties and/or Trick-or-Treating! My son is going to Universal Studios Horror Nights for the first time (he is 15) with a friend and his family. I’m nervous for him but also super excited for him since this is the first time he’s expressed interest in going out like this with a friend (he’s usually a home-body and would rather stay home than be around people).
