It looks like we’re finally getting warmer weather! Yay! Enjoy your parents living so close. Mine used to live next door, but about 12 years ago they moved to the town where my dad grew up (about 2 hours away). We live in a wooded area and they wanted to get away from the danger of falling trees.

Life is good in “Mayberry” This town is so small that our Main Street is only 600 feet long, but we have a Barber Shop and a Gas Station! LOL.

Hope everyone had a very happy St. Patty’s Day! I didn’t do anything spectacular except work haha but I did remember to wear green! My son did too so yay for that! My son also just got his braces off after having them on for 2 years, 7 months and 10 days. Such a long time but now he has his beautiful teeth back! I can’t believe that March is half over too! This year sure is flying by already! Have a great rest of your week!!

I tried growing lemon balm, but it died. I’ll try again this spring to see if I can get it to grow. I’ll have to see if my kitties Ellie and Sammie like the way it smells. Ellie loves catnip, but Sammie couldn’t care less.

Hi! The Cherry Blossoms are in bloom at Fort McHenry. Unfortunately, so are the Bradford Pear trees. While their white blooms are quite pretty, they stink. It can be unpleasant. I guess Mother Nature has a sense of humor.

By the way either give Fish and Chip’s toys back or get them a lot more toys and crinkle balls to play with they really want them, I know its Spring-cleaning time but please get Fish and Chip some new toys maybe a special just because I love you gift I think they would really like and appreciate that
MOCK CAPERS: Pick as many unopened, tightly closed dandelion buds as you can manage to- rinse in cold water and strain, cover with strong vinegar and allow to soak for 72 hours. Test a few, they should be pickled. Add seasoning if desired. Process them for canning or keep in fridge not longer than 2 weeks.
