Hey guys! Bowie Binx here! I'd love to take you on a quick tour of Starry Falls. Hope you love it as much as I do!
It’s a warm and sunny first day of June in Starry Falls, and Mortimer Manor is brimming with people streaming into the café. I’ve just arrived in Starry Falls a few weeks back and already I’m wishing I could pick up the phone and tell my family all about this magical town. But since I’m on the run from the feds and the mob for laundering a little dirty money, I’m not exactly in the position to call home, now or ever.
My Uncle Vinnie helped me change my identity, and the old me has all but ceased to exist. But if I could pick up the phone and tell my family about this lovely town, I’d be sure to fill them in on the fact that if you stand on the distal end of Main Street you can see the manor itself that sits crooked on a hill. It’s a mammoth stone building that looks as if it was brought piece by piece from England. The twin falls that sit in the hillside behind the manor, create a fairytale like backdrop. But in my eyes, the crowning jewel is the dozens, if not hundreds, of cats that Opal Mortimer cares for. Most of those sweet kitties are residents of the manor itself and yet some stay true to their stray cat ways. Opal gets into her car every evening at five o’clock and drives to a few locations around town feeding every feline she can some kibble.
Yeah, Starry Falls is special in more ways than one. It's the exact town you'd like to share with those you love, like say your family—and one day I hope to do just that.
