Happy Tuesday!
BIG THANK YOU to all who purchased Someone Like You! Because of you it's sitting in the top 100 of Amazon Kindle right now and I cannot even express my gratitude. Also, in another surprising twist, Someone to Love is also (at this moment) sitting in the top 100 of Amazon, so that makes this a record breaking week for my books. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!! You guys ROCK!
And ack! We're doing it again next week! SUGAR KISSES releases ~*next*~ Tuesday Feb. 11th!
(Pardon my insanity)
A little about Sugar Kisses: Roxy Capwell is by far the feistiest character I have ever written. She's bitter, and angry, and all around disgruntled with the opposite sex. But it was oh so fun to watch her cave and mold and redeem her belief in humankind—sort of. Here's the jacket blurb/teaser:
Roxy Capwell
couldn’t be more miserable. She just had her heart stomped on by her cheating
boyfriend, and the last thing she’s looking for is love. She hates men.
Cole Brighton
couldn’t be happier. He’s a player of the highest order, there’s not a girl at
Whitney Briggs University that he can’t tag and bag. He loves the ladies.
Roxy’s dream is
to own and operate her own bakery one day, but with no oven in her dorm, and a
lucrative baking competition on the horizon, she agrees to move in with her
best friend’s brother, the obnoxious, womanizing, Cole Brighton.
Between the
heavenly scent of baked goods, and Roxy’s perfect body strutting around the
apartment, Cole can’t think straight. So when Roxy’s ex starts sniffing around
again, Cole volunteers to play the part of her new boy-toy and things get
heated both in and out of the kitchen.
Roxy discovers
she might not hate every man on the planet, and Cole discovers nothing tastes
better than Roxy and her late night SUGAR KISSES.
Roxy is a ball of stress and anger.
Cole is all ego and sex.
Their attraction is unstoppable.
And when their bodies collide—its
combustible.

*Gage’s POV with Ellis
“You and Messenger
never fight?”
“I don’t know.” I
shrug it off. “We had a long bout of silence when that whole DVD thing went
down.” I still remember how crappy it felt to watch a five-minute montage of
Skyla with Dudley—with Logan, and then
of course the freeze frame of her awkwardly kneeling in front of Ellis himself,
although that proved to be nothing. “No I guess we don’t fight.”
“Last week Giselle
and I were watching Adventure Time and I ate the last oatmeal raisin cookie.”
He shakes his head as if reliving the memory. “She effing lost her shit, dude—over a cookie! ”
Ellis slaps me on the back. “Just wait. You’ll get yours. There’s not one
decent relationship that doesn’t get thrown into the shitter once in a while.”
I give a bleak
smile because for once Ellis is right.
Skyla and I are
about to get thrown into the shitter in grand style. Only this isn’t some lousy
oatmeal raisin cookie we’ll be warring over. Nope. In fact, all hell is about
to break loose.
*Enjoy the week~! Thank you once again for all the book love! XOXO
